What a cool use for a Meteorite!

After our trip to Natural Resources Canada, I thought our class would like to see the article I spotted this afternoon. Take a look at the article from Teaching Kids News. After reading the article, look for the section below called Related links. You will see a hyperlink that will bring you to a great video explaining a little more about these two Russian events.

After reading the article and watching the video, feel free to make a comment below about you thoughts.

    I am amazed that they are putting rocks in the metals this year for the first time in the winter games. I am very surprised that they are doing that.

    That video was a great video of rock and minerals, the next person had a piece of gold. The meteorite was gold!

    It was neat and cool to see meteorites crashing down into earth but I wouldn't want any hitting anybody.

    Asteroids are a rocks from blown up plants. than the earth gravity and hot atmosphere
